  1. Sign In

  2. Navigate the Teams Interface

    • Activity: Notifications and mentions.

    • Chat: 1:1 or group instant messaging.

    • Teams: Organize conversations, files, and collaboration by department or project.

    • Calendar: Schedule and join meetings (integrated with Outlook).

    • Calls: Make voice or video calls (if enabled).

    • Files: Access recent documents or shared files from OneDrive/SharePoint.

  3. Chat and Messaging

    • Start a new chat using the Chat tab.

    • Share files, emojis, or GIFs to enhance communication.

    • Use @mentions to notify specific people.

  4. Meetings and Calls

    • From Calendar, click New Meeting to schedule.

    • Join meetings via Join button from Teams or Outlook invite.

    • Use screen sharing, background effects, and recording (if enabled by IT).

  5. Collaboration in Teams

    • Within a Team, access Channels to keep discussions organized by topic.

    • Upload and co-author files with colleagues in real time.

    • Use integrated apps (Planner, OneNote, third-party tools) for productivity.

  6. Notifications and Settings

    • Click your profile picture → Settings to adjust notifications, devices, and appearance.

    • Use Do Not Disturb when focusing.
